Sprint 4






I worked on a bunch of fun assets for the levels! I worked on a bunch of extra assets to stay ahead. The lantern is my favorite so far! Click on the lantern to get a better view. Also the Art looks much better in the game than on blogger.

Game Style

so the artists and some programers as well as our new design lead sarah came together and we finally decided on a style for our game. Well basically we decided to do toon shading instead of gradients. This will create a lot of extra work for me redoing all of my old work but its ok!

I also in illustrator traced and colored our main character Suni. Leif drew her on paper and I brought her to life with the computer! :)

Sprint 1 New Semester

It is a new semester and class has started again. I am eager to finish the game and create some awesome art this semester. I will try and keep my blog more up to date than last semester! Well the FIRST sprint is here!
Alice:
a. Redraw and color the treasure chest from side view. (last semester Bob said that the perspective was off).
1. Use Illustrator and make the lid and bottom on two separate layers




1. Everyone:
a. Draw a level design. Bring to class tomorrow if possible.
1. Please do this! I'm sure that you've all received emails from Russel with the details. He's asking for at least one level that incorporates the mechanics that we've talked about. If you have trouble coming up with a full level, at least draw out a fun puzzle idea.





b. Next Week:
1. Pipeline: Shadow Thief character coloring, create objects for the farmland level. More info to come next week.
